Give wings to your heart this holiday season by gifting someone you love with a beautiful replica of the Blue Morpho butterfly or with the inspirational film, "The Blue Butterfly". Small and beautiful, the butterfly slips easily into holiday cards, stockings and dresses up any package. Based upon a true story, "The Blue Butterfly" is a film that leaves the viewer believing in miracles.

The Butterfly Project

The Blue Morpho butterfly, one of nature's most beautiful wonders, recently inspired two separate miracles - One woman's promise that will transform children's lives in Africa and a breath-taking film about a little boy's last request. Read on to learn how these two miracles came together.

Carole Peccorini, a nurse from Sonoma, California, recently joined a MannaRelief team on a journey to distribute health-giving glyconutrients and vitamins to orphanages throughout Uganda. As gifts for the children, she tucked 1200 iridescent foil butterflies into her suitcase. In Uganda, she met the face of great need. To alter that face, Carole has committed to send 10 orphans through college. Replicas of the Blue Morpho butterfly are giving wings to that dream.

The Film "The Blue Butterfly"

Academy award winner, William Hurt, stars in this film based on the true story about a 10-year-old terminally ill boy whose last wish is to see and catch the
Blue Morpho Butterfly in its native habitat.

Renowned entomologist, Alan Osborne (played by Hurt), and the boy, embark
on a trip to the Bribri villages in Costa Rica. This quest leads to a life-changing transformation for both. A soul-stirring film that teaches new ways to think and live.
